Quick Plain-English Summary

  • Estimates are free and good for 90 days.

  • Deposits may be required on projects that require custom materials.

  • Inclement Weather Policy: When weather impacts operations, your appointment will be reassigned to the next available slot and confirmed with you.

  • Full payment is due at completion (unless otherwise stated).

  • To keep our prices competitive, credit/debit card payments include a 4% processing fee; cash/ACH/check have no fee.

  • We stand behind our work with a 12-month workmanship warranty.

  • Storm damage, misuse, and structural issues aren’t covered.

  • You consent to call/text/email about your project.

1) Scope of Work

Your estimate lists the scope, materials, and price. Anything not listed is not included. Changes require a written change order and may affect pricing and timelines.

2) Estimates & Pricing

  • Free estimates; valid 90 days from issue.

  • Prices assume normal access and conditions. Hidden damage (rotted members, bent kick-plates, broken fasteners, failing anchors, structural issues) may require additional work at an agreed price.

  • Sales tax, disposal, and permit/HOA costs (if any) are your responsibility unless the estimate states otherwise.

3) Deposits & Special Orders

  • Jobs that require special-order materials or exceed a certain amount may require a deposit (commonly 50%). Deposits are applied to your invoice.

  • Special-order materials are non-returnable once ordered.

4) Scheduling, Access & Safety

  • We schedule in arrival windows. Weather, supply, and safety conditions may shift dates/times.

  • You agree to provide clear access to the work area, including gates, driveways, pets secured, and fragile items removed.

  • For two-story or roof-adjacent work, we follow strict ladder/roof safety. If conditions are unsafe (wet roof tiles, lightning, high winds), we’ll reschedule.

5) Materials & Color Variations

  • Screens, spline, fasteners, and paint may vary by brand, lot, and shade. Minor color/texture variation is normal.

  • We install per manufacturer guidelines. If a specific screen type (e.g., No-See-Um, Pet-Resistant, 20×20, Solar) is required, it must be listed on the estimate.

6) Permits, HOA & Property Responsibilities

  • Unless your estimate says otherwise, permits/HOA approvals are owner’s responsibility.

  • We are not responsible for code violations or fines tied to pre-existing conditions.

7) Existing Conditions & Unforeseen Issues

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural deficiencies, electrical/fan issues, irrigation overspray, or settling that affects alignment after we leave.

  • If we uncover rot/structural problems, we’ll pause, review options/pricing, and proceed only with your approval.

8) Site Care, Clean-Up & Disposal

  • We keep the site tidy and remove our job-related debris. Household trash and non-job items are excluded.

  • Power and water access (if needed) should be available on site.

9) Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please give 24–48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.

  • A no-show or locked-out fee may apply if our crew can’t access the site at arrival.

10) Payment Terms

  • Unless stated otherwise in writing, payment is due upon substantial completion of the work.

  • We accept cash, check, ACH, and major credit/debit cards.

  • To keep our prices competitive, a 4% processing fee applies to credit/debit card transactions. (No fee for cash/ACH/check.) If limits apply by law, the fee will not exceed those limits.

  • Late balances may incur a 1.5% monthly service charge (or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is less) plus reasonable collection costs.

  • Chargebacks on valid work/invoices will be disputed.

11) Warranty

  • Workmanship Warranty: 12 months from completion on labor for the specific work we performed. We’ll repair or replace the warranted portion at our option.

  • Manufacturer Warranties: Materials carry their own warranties; we help process reasonable claims when possible.

  • Exclusions: Normal wear, aging, storm/wind events, falling branches, animals/pets, pressure-washing damage, chemicals, improper use, or third-party alterations void the warranty.

  • Warranty service requires your proof of purchase and reasonable access.

12) Photos & Testimonials

You authorize us to photograph before/after work (no faces/addresses shown) for quality control and marketing. If you prefer no marketing use, tell us in writing before work begins.

13) Liability & Indemnification

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost use, lost profits, etc.).

  • You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse, third-party modifications, or unsafe site conditions outside our control.

14) Force Majeure (Stuff We Can’t Control)

We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by weather, supply-chain disruptions, labor issues, emergencies, or events beyond our reasonable control.

15) Communications Consent

By contacting us, you consent to calls, texts, and emails about estimates, scheduling, and updates. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
